Roasted cabbage steaks are the perfect side dish for any meal and a tasty alternative to prepare fresh cabbage!
Ingredients
- 1 small cabbage head
- Olive oil (generous amount) about 1/3 cup
- Minced garlic (I use about 2 tbs)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Remove stem on cabbage and remove the outer layers.
- Cut cabbage into 1/2-inch slices and lay in a large baking dish.
- Brush cabbage steaks with olive oil generously, then add garlic, and salt/pepper.
- Roast in oven for 40 minutes or until desired tenderness.
